Once you use the iPhone X you will not enjoy using any other smartphone. I have a X and an iPhone 8 Plus (for CityProducer) and cannot wait for the X version of CityProducer to come out. Yes, the X is “smaller” but it works like I think.
Information on some pretty neat products.
Looks like an excellent source of info.
“the conclusion has to be that the iPhone X is more than a capable shooter, and with Apple keen to continue its “Shot on iPhone” campaign, it is good to know that the pros do not find any glaring issues with its performance.Check out the full iPhone X Vs $3000 Panasonic GH5 professional mirrorless camera video quality comparison.”
My iPhone X should arrive next week !
Spotted these guys doing a review of the iPhones on YouTube.

Just in case you missed it.
There has been a lot of talk about using Android for mobile. (City-Producer is iOS only. City-Producer runs on the 6S Plus, 7 Plus or 8 Plus – and will run on the X as well.) There is a reason why City-Producer does not make an Android version. It wants to run on the best hardware for mobile journalism and that is the iPhone. Not just me saying it – here, read a review.
Having a video editing app highly optimized for a target mobile platform that uses the best available APIs and GPU-assisted video encoding can make a world of difference so bear that in mind.
This is an excellent review. It is excellent not just because it has a lot of great things to say about the iPhone 8 Plus, but because it is very thorough and answers so many questions that one might have about why this camera is a great solution for mojo.
Overall, the Apple iPhone 8 Plus is an excellent choice for the needs of nearly every smartphone photographer. It features outstanding image quality, zoom for those needing to get closer to their subjects, and an industry-leading Portrait mode for artistic efforts. It is at the top of our scoring charts in nearly every category — and in particular, its advanced software allows it to do an amazing job of capturing high-dynamic range scenes and images in which it can recognize faces.
As I have already mentioned, I ordered my 8 Plus the first day I could. I received notification from Apple that it should arrive between September 28 and October 2. Am looking forward to it!
Early Geekbench scores for iPhone X and iPhone 8 devices suggest that not only does the new A11 significantly outperform the A10, it beats the A10X Fusion in the iPad Pro and it is on par with the chips in Apple’s latest 13-inch MacBook Pro models.
